The complete ruin that seemed inevitable this morning has been partially averted, and the rest of the problem is manageable. I have placed this morning's post behind a lock, but that does not mean that I forget the people who offered help or prayer or simply sympathy. As the Greeks used to say, there is good in all stations of life, and in adversity you can know your friends. What I have done to deserve so many, I don't know. To everyone who responded, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To everyone who even thought of responding, may God bless and reward you.

This has given me an idea. You remember the hand-made notebook that a friend sent me a while back - a gift so touching that I had a problem finding something good enough to use it for? I shall make my first entry in it tonight, listing all the persons who have responded to my distress, to make sure that I never forget.

I also missed the "inevitable complete ruin" post - and now that you've locked it I'm wondering what happened. You didn't have to get married, did you? I assume not, since "the rest of the problem is manageable," but if things get hairy again, let me know. Prayer and I are tighter than gangesta rappers and posses.
