READ THIS!!!

And then, I beg you in the name of everything that is decent, do everything that the author suggests. Please, every one, every single one, of my friends, whether British or not, DO IT. The British press has long been a place of monsters, and we have got much too used to living with criminals and freaks as our channels of information.

Sadly I can't boycott the Express, I have never bought it. As for the rest, count me in.

Gugh, wow. I will be passing that link along. Did some of the items on the list just now, will do more later.

thanks for bringing that to our attention.

The British press has always had a reputation for being feral but this woman and her editor have plumbed the depths !

I signed the petition.

Actually, we were supposed not to take it out on Murray or make it personal. And indeed, she is just the hired gun, and her editor and publisher ought to be made to feel the heat a lot more. However, I would say that this confirms everything I had thought.

PS: Happy Birthday. One person like you on earth compensates for fifty British journalists.

Sorry for the very *very* late reaction...

But I don’t think that the creator of that site is out to get Murray.
S/he (=the one responsible for the website I mentioned) just wants to show how easily you can take certain things (photo’s, status-updates on facebook/MySpace/Whatever...) out of contexts.

And thanks for the birthday wishes :-)
Did I mention that I study Journalism...? :P
