fpbHazel Blears' denial that she intended any criticism of Gordon Brown is the funniest thing I have seen since I don't know how long. Pure comedy gold.
(Incidentally; purely by chance, as I was listening to the latest news about the Government, I had the closing scene from DON GIOVANNI on - the entrance of the Commander's Statue and the Don's final damnation. I wonder why it felt so appropriate?)
