I'm proud to be a Belgian. But this is one of the things that I hate about it and I have predicted that these things would happen before it was made legal.

How can they be stopped when all the swine in the media and the leading classes are pushing them? God, it makes me sick. You would think that any object with a remote claim to be human would know by instinct that the thing to do with the old and the sick is to cherish, protect and help them; but no - these filth really think they improve the earth by killing those who cannot defend themselves. I have no words too bad for this monstrosity.

OT...

...it's always good to hear from you, and I had not for far too long.

Wow.

I can't really formulate much of a response... except maybe "How unutterably wretched and deplorable."

You may be interested in a rather unexpected mention of you and your History of Britain 410-597 in the website Crunchyroll.com. In the anime forum in the thread "Which Anime character had the most honorable death?" There is a discussion between flair88 and infinitycubed taking up several posts on pages 12, 13, 16, 17, & 18 of that thread.
Infinitycubed mentions Hamlet in his thread on page 13, flair88 responds on page 16 accusing him of speaking for Hamlet, and after several other replies infinitycubed talks about the possibly real Hamlet in one of his posts on page 18, mentioning your mention of Amleth in History of Britain, and speculating about the possible relationships between Ambrosius, Arthur, and Amleth.

Wowwwwww....
I'd always idly planned on going to Belgium when I make my Grand European Tour (tm) and try some real frites, you know, fried with horse fat and dipped in mayo. And sit around doing Poirot imitations.

But if getting hit by a car while walking across the street in a haze of calorie-induced euphoria could end up with me being "terminally sedated", then forget them.

Besides, Googling tells me that for "economic and health reasons" even the Belgians aren't using horse fat anymore.

YOU'VE LOST YOUR SOUL, BELGIANS.

Not everyone. The wonderful [profile] sevenorora, above, is Belgian, and one of the finest human beings it has been my very underserved privilege to know.

Yeah, we nearly had this nightmare in OZ.
Never trust humans when money is on the line - and with medical care being expensive, and inheritance up for grabs, the vultures will gather the moment there's a chance of picking off anyone to old or frail to defend themselves.
