Dear Sirs/Madams,
in Italian, "pasta all'arrabbiata" means pasta in the angry fashion - with reference to the generous use of chilli in the sauce. The so-called arrabbiata sauce I bought from you did not even frown convincingly.

A buddy of mine from my Coast Guard days was from Italy.
I learned very quickly how serious your people can get over food and wine.

Well, this item was not even bad enough to get angry about. But we do take food seriously - if nothing else, because it is precious and ought to be treated with respect. I was just recently told of a southern Italian tradition that you never place bread on the table upside down, because that would show that you do not respect it.
