How to be wished a Merry Christmas

After an evident demonstration of hostility by one of the current FA mods, I have asked for all my fics to be taken down. I have had far too much of this kind of thing in the past, and this time I am not disposed to fight or to be again exposed to fandom_wank by the mod's little helpers. Besides, I cannot see the point of staying on the damn site when even new fics don't get one review between them. I've had it with FA and its self-important berks, and I doubt if I ever will go back there for any reason except reading the few fics I still like.

Dare I ask what the drama is this time?

I've seen some new fics getting reviews, but the HP fandom in general is getting smaller; that's just inevitable. The same thing is happening on all the HP fan sites.

It's a long story, but the issue is that there is one person on the mods board who is evidently looking for reasons to give me points. I have been through this crap before and I am not going to play again; besides, if I let them go on, I would get 64 weeks' suspension, which comes to the same thing except the bastards would still get to use my work. Well, forget that. If they want to victimize someone, they can find someone else this time.

Plus, isn't that a nice thing to deliver a guy just on the eve of Christmas? That alone tells you the kind of animus I am facing.

Oh, BTW, since she is a friend of yours, I had better add that the person with whom I am having trouble is emphatically NOT Swissmiss. With her, in spite of one vigorous private exchange, I never had any problem and no experience except good manners. In fact, without her and a couple of others, I'd have been gone long before now.

SwissMiss is cool (and I don't think she likes the "modding" part of the job). The others have pretty much turned FAP into the "We Hate J.K. Rowling" club.

Well, considering that it is based on Harry/Draco slash, it always has been. The trouble is that by the time I realized it, I was already in deep to the tune of one or two dozen fics. Since then I have stayed in more or less out of habit - and, at some point, bloody-mindedness: I would not give certain people the pleasure to see me go. But now I am not even getting any readers, why insist?
