The next rulers of the universe

I have been thinking about something inverarity said a few weeks back. It occurs to me that if I were to produce some sort of secret conspiracy to rule the world, in this day and age, there is a group that would be more credible than any other: young Asian ladies with university degrees. If you ever brought together tashmania, kikei, hermoinejean7, and cette_vie, you would definitely have enough brain-power and working capacity to take over the world with ease, not to mention enough charm to make the rest of us like it. They certainly would be a hundred times better than the present shower. Add dustthouart and expectare as honorary Easterners, and helixaspersa as honorary mistress of the world, period - she definitely has the brainpower, charm and hard work down pat, and I already promised once to cast her as a super-villain.

This made me smile quite a lot :-) I like the idea, hehe - I don't have the pleasure of knowing most of the other ladies you've listed, but I'm certain that with kikei at my side, world domination would be a cinch :D

It's the wrong time now that work, health and sentimental affairs make it almost impossible for you to follow LJ affairs (not that I am complaining; to the contrary, I am grateful that you make the effort to get back in touch from time to time), but if you had time I would tell you that you could do worse than find out about the rest of the ladies in question. cette_vie is a genius of Chinese extraction, currently at the University of Chicago. hermoinejean7 is studying all sorts of sciences somewhere in South India. expectare and dustthouart are young American ladies who specialize in Chinese and East Asian cultures, and expectare, being a cadet in the US Army, could take care of the military side of any conspiracy. And finally, helixaspersa is a phenomenally talented, attractive and charming scholar in the humanities, currently lecturing at Oxford. So I think you are in good company. If you start a conspiracy, don't tell me; I don't want to know. Just make sure I don't end up losing. 8-)

somehow, I missed this post. seeing it now has made me smile immensely... something that I really need to remember to do more often. I often lose faith in myself, so it really helps to know that even when I am down, there are others who still have faith in me.
