So a schoolteacher in Britain is hounded by his students with racist jokes and insults and fails to get any support from his headteacher, because he is a Christian. He is scapegoated and got rid of. I am sure that nobody who knows the state this country is in will be either suprised or incredulous.

But here is what gets me. Who does he go to complain?

To the BBC.

Didn't Our Lord say something about being as innocent as doves, but as prudent as snakes? It strikes me that most modern Christians have forgotten the second part.

Fabio, in all sincerity, is there some reason you rarely provide links when you make these kinds of posts? It makes it very difficult to know what you're talking about.

It was on a local TV news broadcast, so I wouldn't know how to link it. I'll have a look and see if I can find it on the BBC site.

At any rate, I think I have put all the essentials. For a Christian being hounded out of his job to go to the BBC is not unlike a black man asking the Ku Klux Klan for help. That was my whole point.
