LJ has been slower than crap the last couple of days. I was thinking it was the library's internet (Charter Communication, sucky) but maybe it's not.

i suspect it's due to the flash advertising. i can't see a a way to disable it and still be able to use youtube.

Run Firefox and NoScript--you can manually enable the youtube links.

There seem to be server problems (also); even with FlashBlock, it occasionally takes me several tries to load a page.
