I need to ask you your opinion on the possible casting of Richard Armitage as Union Jack in the new movie. Apart from the fact that I don't immediately see him as Yr Genericke British Aristocrat, it seems excellent news, but what do I know about Captain America? I'm an Armitage fan, though.

I never saw this when you first posted it, for some reason. I have no opinion, because the male Union Jack is pretty much a cypher in the comics I read - gets injured early on and is replaced by his daughter, Jaqueline. The writers can do pretty much anything they want with him.
