Oh, I never argued that giving democracy a chance wasn't preferable. What I'm arguing is that the notion that democratic outcomes are always the best possible ones is both untrue and widely believed by Obama and the mainstream media. It may be that democracy will have its chance in the Muslim world -- and the outcome of this will be terrible and bloody wars which end in the recolonization or destruction of much of the Muslim world. It's this strong possibility which Obama and the MSM ignore.
And the journalists would care, if their precious little liberal world was overcome or even strongly menaced by the Muslims. They just don't care when the death and destruction and oppression happen to foreigners in far-off lands. In other words, their pretense at cosmopolitan caring is just that -- a pretense.
