Resolutions for the New Year

1) To lose weight
2) To complete my book about 1918-1923 before the end of the year, and if at all possible to publish a collection of my essays and start publishing my History of Britain 407-597 through Lulu or the like.
3) To stay out of debt.

Good luck with all three - and I'll be a silent partner on number 1. It's one of mine as well!

From what I recall, you hardly need to, and certainly not to my same extent. From my selfish point of view, it would be better if you did something like point two, so that we might enjoy more of your writing. As for point three, if all the nation (and every other Western nation) had taken the same pledge thirty years ago, we would all be a lot better off, but since they didn't, we have to.

W/r/t the second of these...

... we are eager.

I'm with Fabio.

The second is important.

Did you take a walk today? Exercise helps my mood, especially when losing weight. When I walk, I rarely have trouble with my weight, and when I stop I feel terrible. Make endorphins your 2018 addiction. They are good for you.
