For my readers' information. The gentleman who signs himself as fidicinis is, to the best of my knowledge, a professional musician specializing in early and Baroque music. What is more, he is German, which in the field of archaic and classical music tends to be an extra recommendation. German musicians know their music and take it seriously. If someone like him feels that this staggering piece of American demotic is as great as I think it is, I think our opinion is reinforced.
