Dear Natalie,
I have finished my essay on human life, reproduction and allied subjects. It is rather long, because I tried to make it at least approximately a reasoned defence. And reason takes time. It is in this LJ at the date February 15. Anyone else who wants to discuss the matter can have a look as well. However, a word of warning: flamers and idiots, on this subject of all subjects, I could do without. Unreasoning hostility and insults will meet the Scissors of Doom.

Don't know how I missed that. I've left my response. Thank you. :)

You haven't missed it. I started it on the date it claims, but, as it took some while to write, I put under a private lock until I had finished it. I might have changed the date, but I felt that I did not want to do a lj-cut, and on the other hand if I dated it to today it would take up an intolerable amount of space on my friends' friends page - and that would be unfriendly. 8-) So I kept it where it was.

Ahh, I see. I was wondering if you'd forgotten. I was privately sort of hoping that was the case, because once Med started, I really didn't have any time or energy to deal with any more debates... :) But your response was very thoughtful. I could argue, of course, but I really don't feel I need to, or that there'd be any point. There's nothing to make my point of view any more (or less) valid than yours.

Oh, by the way, I'm at my sister's again, so I will not be posting regularly again for a few days. The weather across Europe is horrendous: both Italy and Britain are blanketed with snow from one end to the other.

And here we're having these wild storms - there were uprooted trees and roofs damaged by hail on Saturday.

My own LJ time is very irregular at the moment, and probably will be for, um, the next four years. Playtime is over. :) But med school is fun in its own way. I certainly don't expect to be bored.
