And I'm apparently descended from Robert Roy MacGregor. I don't know too much about that though. I think that's my family trying to talk themselves up again.
I do have one great painter (Guercino, in the sixteen hundreds) and one saint (St.Clelia Barbieri, the eighteen hundreds) in my family tree. But neither of them is French.
And there is no reason why you should not be related to Rob Roy. One thing those old highlanders were not short of was children.
Or attractive cousins, from the sound of it. In all actuality, I probably am just a mix of the more mediocre families to have emigrated from Scotland, Ireland, Italy (that there's Italian blood in my genes is a sure thing) and perhaps Spain, much like the rest of white Australia.
