Call for help and advice - illustrations on the LJ

I would like to start publishing a few illustrations in this LJ. Can those of you clever people who know how to do it please tell me what you do, and also recommend some free web host to upload my pictures? Thanks in advance.

Well, once you have the picture scanned in, you have to upload it. Try using photobucket- www.photobucket.com - because that allows for direct linking without banners or anything. when you want to post an image in your lj, you'll use the html tag:

[img src="address of the pic"] but you'll replace the square brackets with angle brackets.

example (I'll use a banner):



this is coded as [img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v40/kikei/onceupon.jpg"] with angle brackets instead of square ones. I hope that makes sense! If you still have problems, then I'll look for a tutorial on the net.

Yeah, I use photobucket too, it's so simple, I can't help wondering what the catch is!
