Disgust

One of my worst mistakes - a vile, two-faced anti-religious troll who sneaked under my bullshit detectors a while back - has turned up again, making an unwelcome and unneeded intervention in an elaborate debate on the meaning of life, with no other purpose than a miserable attempt to make me look ridiculous. I told her off in no uncertain terms, but the episode has left me with the sense of disgust that meeting with her likes invariably does. Nobody likes to come into contact with degrading things.

People are foolish creatures. If allowing somone to get under your skin is your worst mistake, then you are a lucky man, no matter how foolish you felt. Go enjoy what you've been graced with, and let the ugliness go.

Um. I'm sure, from what you know of me, that you'd know that I disagree with that quite a bit. I mean, a part of me wishes that it was true, but I can't bring myself to accept it.
