Shoebox project is a really good MWPP story. Worth the time to read, even though you don't like all the ships. A lovely mix of prose and artwork. <ljuser-http://www.livejournal.com/community/shoebox_project/>
I'm not so keen on Harry here (his lower features seem a bit close compared to the upper half of his face, and purely subjectively I guess I don't picture him with that facial shape) but Narcissa is excellent - especially her expression.
You may have a point. I suspect that there is an error in perspective somewhere in Harry's face - look at his nose as comapred with the side of his jaw. I think myself that Narcissa looks too young, but I tried to go with JKR's description of her "looking like a drowned person" at Spinner's End, which suggests lank rather than curly hair, and to give a suggestion of the desperation she still must be feeling under the disguise of Malfoy arrogance.
She didn't strike me that way, but I see where you're coming from. Still, I'm sure she can make herself as young as she wants to look, and if she's anywhere near as vain as her Muggle counterparts... ;)
If I had drawn Harry's scar in the centre, it would barely have been visible. Anyway, you can see the top only - it goes across.
I used my own hands to model, making sure that I narrowed my sausage-like fingers to look more like Narcissa's long and elegant ones.
As for the wands, the position was dictated by the composition. If I had had them holding by the ends instead of in the middle, the wands would have been either ridiculously short or poking each other's eyes out.

Harry's scar is in the middle of his forehead, not the side! It is it is it is.
I marvel at the hands. They always give me so much trouble and yours here look great! I also like how they're holding the wands too.
