Meme to pass some time

Teacher
You scored 57% Do Gooder, 57% Drive, and 96% Intellect!
You are a smarty-pants and eager to share your knowledge with others, while still open to absorbing everything in your environment. That is why you are a teacher (and at the same time, a perpetual student). You have above average intelligence and the drive to be effective in your life and the lives of others. You are also a good person who cares about others, but yourself as well, generally not letting people take advantage of you. A teacher is a great thing to be and we need more humans like you in the world.

All human being categories are: Lazy SOB, Rebel w/out a Cause, Evil Mastermind, Henchman, Criminal, Dictator, Frat Boy, Socialite, Philosopher, Stunt Double, Upstanding Citizen, Teacher, Cheerleader, Sister Mary DoGood, Benefactor, Loyal Sidekick, Candy Striper, Goody Two-Shoes.

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Yeah, on the whole, I'd have done better to do the sketch myself. Pretty godawful. AND it does not look like me either.

FPB, you look kinda slutty!

"AND it does not look like me either."

My child, you must get used to seeing all kinds of things in this world - said Don Camillo to Peppone just before he tipped him into the canal.

Hermione Granger, huh?

The sketch indeed not great. Nice boobies though :)

Done by someone who definitely would not have wound up as "teacher" or "philosopher"; understanding things only by cliches ("an apple for teacher", whatever that means), obsessed by infantile notions of sex - hey, lookit the big boobies! - incompetent and overrating his drawing abilities. Probably "henchman" or "frat boy".

an apple for teacher
Yes, what does it mean? Never heard it.
BTW of cliches - the teacher must have glasses on. Yes, absolutely.

And as for below comment: Hermiones of the world unite!

One of our American friends ought to enlighten us, since the only thing I know about it is that it is an American cliche'.

In the U.S. it was traditional to give teachers an apple on the first day of school. The custom is of Scandinavian origin.

"An apple for teacher" refers to, well, bribery. But I've never, ever heard anybody actually use the phrase seriously, nor have I ever seen anyone give a teacher an apple. How American society has fallen since the 1880's!

Thanks.

By the way, "Hermione Granger".... takes one to know one!
(Not in a nasty way. I learned more from your postings than from anyone else's, purely in terms of information.)

My test wound up the same.

Imagine that.

I was worried for an instant that this might be one of the people I do not very much like. In which case, the idea of them teaching anything would bother me. You're all right, though.

[identity profile] curia-regis.livejournal.com 2005-10-03 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. Possibly better than Evil Mastermind, eh?

[identity profile] fpb.livejournal.com 2005-10-04 09:05 am (UTC)(link)
Dunno. I miss all the minions rushing around to make my life easier. "Hey, minion - reorganize my library, immediately, or your head comes off!"

I got teacher too. I'd better have, seeing as I'm trying to get into education next year.

I got teacher too. Maybe we should start a school, kidnap some kids and force them to take lessons from us. Sometimes, when I look at what the French education system has come to (which is supposed to be one of the best in the world), I feel like doing that.

Tell me about it. I have seriously meditated trying to find a few like-minded people and starting something, perhaps on the Internet. But any institution I started would be strongly influenced by Catholic views, so you might have your objections to that. Still, if we both start something, at least we might have a couple of institutions not corrupted by the ongoing rot.
