Something weird is going on about my last post. I would like to point out that I moved the debate to my LJ of my own free will, and exactly because I did not want to overburden someone else's with my own issues. However, it seems that now I am being asked to apologize to someone for something I have said that was felt to be offensive, at the same time as it is made impossible for me to even check what it was I said and why. In a word, I have no notion what I am being asked to do and why.

That was me. The apology was to the people you were less than courteous to on my own Lj regarding the topic, considering they certainly had no idea of being offensive or insulting to you with their original posts.

I know you're a nice person; I want other people to see that too, because sometimes you don't need this shit. But if that's going to happen you're going to have to start speaking to other people like you speak to me; you disagree with just about everything I think but somehow still manage to be unfailingly polite about it.

Relegate outbursts of anger to comparisons of being aborted chinese foetuses k?!

I do it because you deserve it. There are people who do not, such as the piece of scum I just answered, who first completely lied about what I had said, and then had the impudence to condemn me for it. The best I can do about that is what I have done, which was take the debate away from your LJ and into my own. And look, I know that you are having a bad time, but I am too - to the tune of being £2500 in debt with no hope whatever of wrestling the equivalent sum from the State authority that ought to have paid it to me long ago. So I am a bit short-tempered right now - more than usual - and that may have affected things. I regret hurting you, but some people deserve that and more.

I understand that, but there are people who you attacked completely unprovokedly; Snorkackcatcher, thistlerose, portkey, straussmonster; I had people emailing me asking wtf was going on. I don't stand for people being rude to others on my flist, especially those who should know better.

I would have to see the other, but as for Straussmonster, she has more than asked for it. I do not like to come across her anywhere, and the opening of my posts to her will tell you why. Brutal bad manners, arrogance and self-centredness make a bad combination.
