(no subject)

Something weird is going on about my last post. I would like to point out that I moved the debate to my LJ of my own free will, and exactly because I did not want to overburden someone else's with my own issues. However, it seems that now I am being asked to apologize to someone for something I have said that was felt to be offensive, at the same time as it is made impossible for me to even check what it was I said and why. In a word, I have no notion what I am being asked to do and why.

I mean, I'm not sure I agree with you - that's not what this comment is about in any event - but I don't think that your argument warranted the tone of some of the comments. It puzzles me.

It was linked on fandom wank, so I think some of the comments were from people coming over to troll.

My dear, there are people in fandom who have heard, mostly at seventh hand, terrible tales about me. They think I am this combination of Attila the Hun and Torquemada, and look for every occasion to attack me. What you have seen is fairly normal, once someone posts anything of mine on f_w or on any other backstabber thread.
