First RL meeting with an LJ friend...

fpb...and what a pleasure it was. I spent yesterday afternoon around London with kagome_sama, who is an unusual and delightful person. She is, in person, a rather small, square, lively lady with amazing eyes and a highly intelligent expression, spoiled only by rather poor skin, and she is terrific company. It helped that it turned out that we had almost the same interests - history, social anthropology, the arts, etc - but I cannot imagine anyone who would be bored talking with her. There is not much to be said about our afternoon together (except that at one point I lost my bag, which gave her an opportunity to show that she can keep her cool in a crisis), except that it was fun and that I hope to do it again some time.
