According to the BBC....

...Prime Minister Brown has predicted that Britain is in danger of being hit by violent heat waves, floods and increasingly vicious winds.

I assume he means that he will be making a lot more speeches.

Politicians really ought to consider that the number-one contributor to greenhouse gasses is the fermentation of cow manure. Dear Officials Who Were Not Elected By Me: You are killing the polar bears.

Bull droppings, hot air-- what is certain is that nobody wants to stand downwind of 'em.

You're reminding me of the pig farm I spent some time near to when I was 15. Not only was it bad when the wind turned, but the constant squealing was worth a poem on its own. Pig farms, Gordon Brown's government... odd what free association comes up with...

Oh, yes! Sources of hot air!

You know, the more I think of how Britons want to vacation (typically on the Mediterranean or Caribbean), the less I understand the objection to global warming from Britain. Sort of like understanding it from the USSR, with the world's largest area of permafrost.

Thanks, sir.
