Lady Isabella Hervey has gone from It girl to Bunny Girl after signing up as the new face of Playboy UK.

The Celebrity Love Island star has posed for the magazine's centrefold. And as befits her upper-class credentials, she insisted the shoot be tasteful.

"It's very classy," said the 23-year-old. "Playboy UK wanted somebody who had an innocence about them but could look sexy at the same time. I want to show people it can be upmarket. It's not just all about boobs and stuff like that."

Besides the magazine, Isabella will promote Playboy UK's website and TV channels.

Fellow Celebrity Love Island contestant Abi Titmuss has also fronted an adult channel, Television X, but aristocratic Isabella is adamant there is no comparison.

"We are totally different. I've never flashed my boobs in my life and I never would," she said.

"I'm very innocent, I don't drink and I only have long-term relationships. You can't compare us."

Another question: is she beautiful? I don't think so. She is tanned, bleached, and exercised within an inch of her life, but look at her face - just her face, her features. Not up to much, would you say?

Definitely not. She looks... kinda plastic. Well, a lot of these useless celebrities aren't particularly beautiful. They meet the modern criteria for "beauty" - such arbitrary factors as being tanned and thin. But she's not beautiful. No, I'll even go a step further: she's not interesting. The people I personally find most beautiful/attractive often don't meet the modern beauty criteria, but they have something about them that makes me look at them and want to draw them, or just want to look at them! And it might be something like the way their eyes crinkle when they smile, or just the fact that they do smile and it doesn't look painted on. Paris Hilton and other such people have been manufactured to look a certain way, and society in general accepts that as being "beautiful". But I think individually, we all see beauty somewhat differently.

I do have a definite idea of beauty, and I actually published a couple of instances a few entries ago - Trine Michelsen and Nicola Cowper. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/fpb/103395.html) One common fact is strong, well-defined, expressive features - which is something Paris' face simply does not have.

I dunno, my best friend and I have often had the "What's your type?" discussion. I've never been able to give a definite answer. I mean, sure, I can say that I like thin guys who aren't too muscly or hairy, but if you asked me about facial features I'd be at a loss. And the person I find most attractive in the world doesn't really fit any of the descriptions I might've given - unless of course I admit to the fact that secretly, my "type" are short nerdy guys with glasses and open smiles. :) "Beauty" is in many ways such a personal thing - we all have our own prefernces, and in the end, the most beautiful people we know are beautiful because of who they are and what they mean to us rather than what they look like.
