Little personal triumph

I made beef in aspic today for the first time, AND it tastes great! Kind of a waste to be eating it all alone, though.

sounds very tasty ! Come over to Australia and we can have Kangaroo fillet. Very nice and good for you and we have many Kangaroos. We are the only nation in the world (as far as I know) that eat the animals on their Coat of Arms.

yep. Needs to be cooked by an expert . We had excellent Kangaroo at Jacobs Creek estate restaurant in Barossa Valley. Best I ever tasted. I wouldnt try to cook it at home.

Actually, We had jelly of the fruit kind, with peanut butter on whole wheat...that passes for home cooking here these days. I miss having someone to cook proper meals for, as the small people here are pretty much into meals that do not require flatware...
