The trouble with most Snape fics is that they are not about Snape, but about Alan Rickman. And they are all by straight women.

Hehe, it is very true! And as been said, the draw is the voice. I don't really find Snape or Lucius, or Alan Rickman or Jason Isaacs attractive, but their voices... guh.
